These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of www.geexolotls.com and its related pages and services (the "Site"), operated by Geexolotls ("Geexolotls", "we", "us"), and your ownership of Geexolotls NFTs. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. The collection

Geexolotls is a collection of 3,333 digital collectibles (NFTs) on the Solana blockchain. It is a parody artwork about geek culture, immersed in the world of the axolotls. References to third-party characters, brands or works are made for parody and commentary, and imply no affiliation with or endorsement by their owners.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) and able to enter into a binding agreement to use the Site or acquire Geexolotls NFTs.

3. Not financial advice

Geexolotls NFTs are collectibles meant for enjoyment and community participation. They are not investments, securities or financial products, and nothing on the Site is financial, legal or tax advice. NFT prices are volatile and you may lose all of the value you paid. Roadmap items describe our intentions and are not promises.

4. Ownership and license

When you lawfully acquire a Geexolotls NFT, you own that token on the blockchain. Geexolotls keeps all intellectual property rights in the artwork, characters, logos and other content. As long as you hold the NFT, we grant you a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, copy and use the artwork linked to your NFT for personal, non-commercial purposes, including as a profile picture and to show off or resell your NFT. This license does not allow commercial use of the artwork, such as selling merchandise or using it in paid products or advertising, without our prior written permission. This license transfers to the new owner when you sell or transfer the NFT.

5. Royalties and transfers

Geexolotls NFTs are Metaplex Programmable NFTs (pNFTs) whose creator royalties are enforced on-chain. Secondary sales and transfers are subject to those royalties and to the transfer rules built into the token. Using marketplaces or tools that attempt to bypass them may fail or may breach these Terms.

6. Blockchain and wallet risks

You are solely responsible for your wallet, your private keys and seed phrase, and for every transaction you sign. Blockchain transactions are irreversible. We do not control the Solana network, wallets or marketplaces, and we are not responsible for their outages, bugs, fees or security incidents. Always check that you are on the official Geexolotls domain (www.geexolotls.com). We will never ask for your seed phrase.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Site for any unlawful purpose, not to interfere with its security or operation, not to scrape or attack it, and not to impersonate Geexolotls or its team.

8. Third-party services

The Site may link to third-party websites and services (such as Discord, X, marketplaces and wallets). Those services are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

9. Disclaimers

The Site and Geexolotls NFTs are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Geexolotls and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data or digital assets, arising from your use of the Site or Geexolotls NFTs. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us directly, if any, in the twelve months before the claim.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. If you keep using the Site after a change, you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
